The beautiful families that came out to my 2015 Easter Minis are so awesome ! We had a great day . The weather was really perfect and they had the chance to meet Lucky the bunny. Im so pleased with how all of the photos turned out! All of the kids were very well behaved and seemed to really enjoy the hands on experience with a live animal.
What can I do with these images to make something artistic??? That is what I was thinking this morning. I am part of a group of photographers that call ourselves "Artists for Change" we support each other in work and life and we have a #52project that encourages us to do a creative new photo a week for a year. Its harder than you may think to get creative. Sure I can go take a beautiful photo outside. I want to really push myself as an artist. To think outside the normal photo and come up with something fun and unique. I think this week I did that. I took a photo of my son enjoying the Georgia Aquarium on March 7th 2015 and merged it with an awesome super moon photo that I had taken a few years ago. I decided to make the image about him. He loves to read. He has finished so many books in the last 6 months it puts me to shame. He takes great joy in learning and exploring new and exiting things. So I decided to combine those ideas into a cool composite picture that would make him proud. I hope you all enjoy what Ive created and maybe it will inspire you to take a creative leap on a MONDAY no less :)
