The Christmas season is upon us.
I used to have all of these beautiful family traditions. Things have changed so much my grandparents have both passed away and my oldest brother as well. This makes the holidays harder because these are the people I always spent holidays with.
So now I'm faced with the new challenge of making brand new memories and traditions for my family of four. I got my first real taste of this reality on Thanksgiving I made a feast that would have fed 20 people and it was just the four of us. I didn't want to make it lack luster just because it was just us. We did have some friends stop by and eat with us wich was great!
Now with Christmas almost here I'm freaking out a little about the new traditions I should be making. I'm kinda at a loss.
I would love it some of you could list some of your favorite traditions here to give me some ideas. My kids are 8 and 10 both boys that have never believed in Santa Clause. So that tradition was lost long ago.
I had to set up our tree early this year because I had Santa sessions at my home. I am hoping my husband and I can work together to make this the best Christmas ever. I don't want to be all about gifts. We have already finished to shopping. I want it to be allot more about family and making new memories.
I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Filled with Joy Love and Thankfulness about what this time of year truly means for all of us. Value what you have because time is fleeting and nothing lasts on this earth. Love with out limits. Hug as if it's the last embrace you will have. Laugh with your heart and soul,it's contagious. Finally make memories that will live long after your time on earth is through.
With love and hope for the future
